A strong component of growth is represented by the numerous research and development activities carried out in recent years, also in light of the new collaboration with the University of Milan-Bicocca, and by investments in new machinery and technologies.

• New high-performance Tecnovo lubricants, developed to meet the technical needs of customers who want to increase the productivity of their production lines
• Evolution in the formulations of Tecnovo's “green” emulsifiable oils, through new additives that improve the bath process in terms of lubrication and drawing performance
• Installation at the Koner plant of a new automatic hydraulic press, with a pressing force of 120 tons to stamp hard metal products up to an external diameter of 120mm
• Commissioning of new 5-axis CNC machine for the production of steel and hard metal tools
• Production of various types of drawing dies and custom-designed parts, with sophisticated micro-grains with zero porosity and significantly higher compactness and hardness values, while maintaining the already high standards of toughness
• Wide range of round and shaped dies, which can be supplied in hard metal or diamond-coated (nanodies) to hugely increase the work-life
• D-lab L, the innovative instrument for measuring the diameter and ovality of dies; after its huge success on the world market in recent years, it has been further improved with a larger touch screen for greater ease of use by operators and an extremely wide measuring range (0.25mm - 10mm)
• New K.80 machines for dies polishing and K.14 machines for regrinding of the internal geometry of the dies
• New line of butt welder machines, efficient, easy to use, and perfect for welding all types of steel wire
• Specialized and professional regrinding services for carbide and polycrystalline diamond dies
• High-performance wiping pads made with specific coating and internal and external lubrication treatments, supplied for all types of applications and for any customer requirement
• Wire and wire rod cleaning brushes that guarantee long life and are available in various sizes, types, and materials
